The Change Lab brings together nonprofits, community leaders, and public sector partners to build shared understanding, align efforts, and collaborate on complex social issues. Through structured convenings and networks, we support collective action that strengthens advocacy and systems change.
the transition child benefit
The Change Lab convened over a dozen community legal clinics and children’s services to address cuts to the Transition Child Benefit, which provided $65 million annually in supports for children in families facing crises. The effort persuaded the Government of Ontario to reverse the cut.
