Research & Capacity Building

The Change Lab works with communities and nonprofits to conduct research that informs evidence-based policy reform. We also provide capacity-building support to nonprofit organizations, including workshops, learning sessions, and facilitation for boards and staff teams. These programs strengthen organizational skills, deepen policy understanding, and enhance the ability of nonprofits to effectively advance their missions.

Research

The Change Lab coordinated the second phase of research for the Metamorphosis Network, breaking down funding patterns for community services like affordable housing, mental health care, childcare and seniors care. The research demonstrated a significant gap between the funding provided for services in Peel when compared to other major municipal centres across Ontario.
